Who we are...
In 2022, 2 retired amateur radio operators began meeting on a regular basis on a local 2 meter repeater, and were quickly joined by 2 additional amateurs. Being that they were retired, they noticed that they were losing track of the days of the week. In addition, every day seemed like a Saturday! From this was born the VHF "Local Edition" of the Happy Saturday Net. As interest increased, an "International Version" of the net was born on HF. Fast forward to 2026. With growing participation and interest in the net, the core group decided to create the "Happy Saturday Klub".
